Senior Tech Support Specialist


· Support Mr Price on-site and remote employees and stores for all IT technologies including but not limited to Windows Desktops , Windows Servers, Inhouse ERP system and mobile based services / solutions.

· Administer and support networks (LAN/WAN/VPN)

· Monitor, prioritize tickets and incidents.

· Maintain asset lifecycle as outlined in company procedures.

· Install and configure hardware, software and peripherals

· Ensure hardware and software systems are available and secure.

· Implementation, administration and support of security endpoint solutions

· Assist in the upskilling of other team members.

· Occasional travel to sites across the country


· Proficient in supporting Office 365, Teams , Sharepoint

· Proficient supporting Hyper V

· Proficient supporting Active Directory and Group Policy.

· Experience in Documenting systems and processes.

· Customer Service skills

· Proven strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

· Self-motivated and willingness to learn

· Proven ability to work well with technical and non-technical staff across numerous areas.

· Excellent problem solving and Root Cause Analysis skills

· Proficiency in understanding, analyzing and defining corrective actions from data provided in logs, traces, and heap dumps.

· Ability to work in a team both locally and in a geographically dispersed environment

Knowledge and Experience

· Full clean drivers licence

· 5-10 years relevant IT experience.

· IT Third Level qualification

· Network / Security Certifications desirable.
