Assistant Manager : Kiltipper 

Our Assistant Manager role is one of our new store-based roles that Mr Price has to offer. The people in these roles help ensure the successful day to day running of a Mr.Price store while providing support to our Store Manager’s.

Mr.Price Assistant Managers are responsible for assisting the Store Manager whilst ensuring they deliver great customer service.

  • Communicating store KPI's & store assessment results to the entire team and improving store operating standards.
  • Ensuring new and existing plans, procedures and updates have been communicated efficiently to all members of the store team.
  • Visually ensuring the store looks great having a keen eye for detail, spotting current trends and maximising profits by reorganisation to suit customer needs.
  • Both cash & till management is an important part of daily duties.

Our Keyholder roles were designed to allow candidates that want to progress from a sales assistant position into a managerial role. It allows employees to gain the relevant experience to progress their career further.

Responsibilities Include:

Sales Assistants : Nationwide

Responsibilities include:

  • Packing out stock on shelves, facing off displays to ensure they look well, replenishing/filling gaps, stock rotation if working with food items.
  • Providing friendly welcomes & assistance to all Mr. Price customers at all times.
  • Operating tills, carrying out cashier duties.
  • Providing the highest possible standard of customer service at all times.
  • Maximizing sales by providing customers with info on our special offers and Mr.Price Loyalty Scheme.
  • Responsible for the general upkeep and cleanliness of shop floor and other areas.

Desirable skills and attributes:

  • A friendly, approachable and personable manner.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent time-keeping and attendance record.
  • Flexibility and willingness to provide assistance to management in terms of hours and availability. May be required to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, & bank holidays.
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • · Taking in and signing of all deliveries in Mr Price stores.
  • · Operating at store level (such as cashier & sales assistant duties) also included.
  • · Ensuring safety, security, and cleanliness operations are adhered to at all times.
  • · Overseeing back door operations.
  • · Ensuring that deliveries are processed in a timely and careful manner at all times.
  • · Ensuring that stock levels in store rooms are kept at a manageable level.
  • · Reporting incorrect deliveries / delivery discrepancies to relevant personnel in store and HQ.
  • Some desirable attributes:
  • · Some previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential.
  • · Previous experience in a retail setting is essential.
  • · Excellent timekeeping and attendance at work records.
  • · Good awareness of safety, security, and cleanliness at work is essential.
  • · Ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Loss prevention.
  • Adhering to Company Procedures.
  • Patrolling premises.
  • Monitoring activities of customers and visitors to the premises.
  • Verbal and written reporting.
  • Any other duties as required.
  • Liaise with emergency services as required.
  • Respond to security incidents within the store
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain PSA standards in relation to code of conduct.
  • Maintain a security presence at our Store, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for customers and members of the public.

We're looking for Security Awareness personnel for Cork City. Also PSA licence is desirable but not essential.
